The Gibraltar-based online casino operator,, has been declared Casino of the Decade by leading casino player watchdog and advocacy site, Casinomeister. Following six successive years as the Best Casino winner, the latest title rewards the firm’s consistent performance over the last 10 years.

During the last decade 32Red has featured regularly in award ceremonies and received prestigious nominations. As Casinomeister has highlighted in the past, and also in the company’s most recent award, 32Red has raised the bar for others to follow by pioneering a personal, transparent approach to player support and casino bonuses. In the official announcement, Bryan Bailey of Casinomeister said the following regarding 32Red’s achievements and new award:

“They (32Red) have maintained their focus since their launch: personable customer service, responsive and effective management, professional solid operations. Publicly traded, fully transparent, and they are bound by an ideology that is based on player satisfaction. These guys have a lot to be proud of…again”

32Red CEO, Ed Ware, was delighted by the award, commenting “the Casino of the Decade sits above all other awards in this year’s Casinomeister list and it’s one we receive with a great deal of pride. 32Red aimed to be here when we launched the online casino and we’re honoured that, come the end of ‘naughties’, we’re right at the top of our industry”.

Ware added that the company philosophy remains unchanged and that it will continue to drive the casino to new heights: “the numerous awards from Casinomeister in the past decade have shown that focussing on the player experience is valued where it matters most – the player’s themselves, which Casinomeister and the award represents. Is Lady Gaga The World’s Greatest Fame Machine?

It is many years since the world has seen a performer so startlingly creative, so adept at shock tactics and accomplished in the art of controversy as Lady Gaga.

Since she catapulted to fame with her single Just Dance in 2008, the theatrical singer has sold-out show tickets in minutes and rarely been out of the newspapers. And unlike many of her contemporaries, her excessive press coverage is not related to having a disastrous private life, drug addiction or series of relationships, but for her showmanship and eccentricity.

We have seen the singer giving away a lock of her hair with the deluxe limited edition of her album The Fame Monster. She has enacted a suicide on stage, performed in a giant bathroom on the X Factor and sung to the Queen of England in an Elizabethan ruff and 20 foot long rubber cape.

Real name Stefani Germanotta, Gaga has rolled about in a ‘Chanel wheelchair’, posed naked with Kanye West in pictures by David Lachapelle and bought 80 pizzas for waiting fans queuing at her album signing in Los Angeles. She seemed to revel in speculation that she is a hermaphrodite and broke chart records in America by becoming the first artist in the 17-year history of the Billboard Pop Songs countdown to score four number ones from the same debut album. Paparazzi, Just Dance, Poker Face and LoveGame all hit the top spot in record sales.

As if that was not enough to cram into a few short years, the American singer has collaborated with superstar Beyonce Knowles in her remix of Video Phone, appeared onstage with the Bolshoi Ballet dancers and worn outlandish creations including‘firework boobs’, gyroscope headgear and a jeweled neck brace and studded crutches.

If you want to go and see for yourself what the phenomena of Gaga is all about, get your Lady Gaga tickets from

Jennifer Brantley Is Digitally Releasing A New Unreleased, Uncut, Unrecorded Hank Williams, Sr. And Glenn Douglas Tubb Co-Written Song

The story behind the song began when Glenn was approached in 1958 by Hank’s first wife, Audrey, who told him that she had found some old lyrics of Hanks that he never finished writing. She asked Glenn, who was a big fan of Hanks, to finish writing the lyrics and to come up with a Hank Williams’ style melody for the song.

Jennifer Brantley Is Digitally Releasing A New Unreleased, Uncut, Unrecorded Hank Williams, Sr. And Glenn Douglas Tubb Co-Written Song

Although Glenn was young at the time, he had already written songs for Johnny Cash, Kitty Wells, Ernest Tubb, Hawkshaw Hawkins, and others. George Jones had just taken two of Glenn’s songs to record. But the main reasons Audrey chose Glenn were because she knew that Glenn sang a lot of Hank’s songs on his personal appearances and that he would probably come closer to finishing the song as Hank would have wanted.

Glenn waited until he had written more songs for Johnny Cash, George Jones, Bob Dylan, Tammy Wynette, Tennessee Ernie and many others before he attempted to finish writing the song Hank had started.

In 1974, he was living in Tucson, Arizona, when he completed the song and mailed it to Acuff-Rose, Hank’s publisher. He sent them a copy of the original Hank Williams lyrics along with a demo of the song. They had the handwriting checked by a hand writing expert, who concluded that it was indeed Hank William’s handwriting. In June of 1974, Fred Rose Music issued a publishing contract on the song, showing the writers as Hank Williams and Glenn D. Tubb.

Before Glenn moved back to Nashville, Audrey died in November of 1975. He doesn’t know if Audrey ever heard the finished product. After Glenn returned to Nashville, he went to Acuff-Rose and had a meeting about the song. Because of some disagreements, the song was essentially buried until now.

Glenn met Jennifer Brantley in August of this year at a guitar pull dinner party in Nashville. After Jennifer heard the song and Glenn heard her voice, it was decided that Jennifer should record the song.

Jennifer, a singer and an award winning songwriter, favors vintage country music. A few years ago, Bil VornDick, a producer with numerous Grammy credits to his name (including Alison Kraus, Bela Fleck, Ralph Stanley), heard Jennifer sing at a Nashville club. The two met a couple of times and soon after Bil produced her CD, Break Down, released September 4, 2006. It was broadcast on over 153 radio stations and has received radio airplay worldwide, on both country and Americana stations. She has won two awards from Billboard’s World Songwriting Contests. Her Myspace page has amassed over 20,000 fans. One of her songs recently reached # 6 on New Music Weekly’s Up and Coming country radio charts. Jennifer has appeared as a guest on the second longest running radio show, “Ernest Tubb’s Midnight Jamboree,” and several times on the world famous station, WSM 650 AM, this past year. She appears with country legend Razzy Bailey on his latest CD, “I’m a Damn Good Time.”

32Red Online Casino Summons Hellboy in January

32Red Online Casino is poised to launch a slot that has been dubbed as groundbreaking this January, in an announcement made by the Gibraltar-based online gaming operator today.

32Red Online Casino Summons Hellboy in January

The Hellboy slot is based on the hit comic book of the same name, with the graphical styling from the immensely popular book added to the game. The plot is high-octane stuff too, matching the adrenaline rush the two blockbuster movies induced for millions of moviegoers in 2004 and 2008.

Mark Quayle, Head of Marketing for 32Red, believes the Hellboy slot is set to become one of 32Red’s most popular slot machines:

“The addition of Hellboy to our casino means we’re able to offer players a number of themed slots with real star appeal, but none match Hellboy’s stylised graphics, stereo sounds and potent slot engine. From spinning the reels to entering the Underworld bonus, Hellboy offers players something special and, of course, a shot at the game’s £92,000 jackpot. It all makes Hellboy arguably one of the best slots in our online casino and the perfect way to start the New Year.”

Hellboy is the creation of the talented Mike Mignola and Dark Horse Comics. A demon summoned by evil Nazi occultist during the Second World War, Hellboy ended up in Allied hands where he was raised as a “normal boy”, despite being bright red and having to regularly file down his horns. He now fights for mankind against dark forces as part of the BPRD – Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense – where Hellboy forms the backbone and strength behind the team’s ongoing battle against evil. The 5 reel and 20 payline slot allows players to guide Hellboy through the darker reaches of the Underworld to free missing members of the BPRD and to the Relic of Power, with players winning cash throughout the journey. For more information you can visit 32Red’s dedicated Hellboy slot website.

Fans of Hellboy will no doubt relish the chance to guide their hero around the reels and through the bonus games, but Quayle insists the game’s graphics and performance will draw all casino game players to its reels as “Hellboy has all the gaming entertainment a player will ever need; an instantly recognisable theme, slick graphics, an immersive plot and the chance to win nearly £100,000”.

Hellboy is due for release at 32Red on January 14 th 2009 and is joined by two other new games in a casino that already boasts over 350 unique casino games.

International Vocalist Lua Hadar Returns To San Francisco Bliss Bar, Then Heads To NYC

Following her November sell-out, and before heading off to performances at New York’s landmark Cornelia Street Café, internationally acclaimed jazz vocalist Lua Hadar returns to San Francisco’s Bliss Bar, in Larry Vuckovich’s Sunday Afternoon Jazz Series: The Art of the Duo. Hadar performs three sets of internationally-flavored jazz from her “jazz without borders” songlist, including her signature French tunes, with TWIST’s Music Director Jason Martineau on piano and Dan Feiszli on bass. With a Paris jazz bistro-cave atmosphere, full bar, light food and cozy fireplace, The Bliss Bar is one of the jewels of San Francisco’s Noe Valley neighborhood. Sunday, January 31, from 4:30-7:30 pm, $10 cash cover. Bliss Bar, 4026 24th Street, San Francisco. (415) 826-6200. Free Parking (Radio Shack lot).

Multi-lingual and multi-talented, Lua Hadar has performed as a singer and actor since her New York childhood. After graduating summa cum laude with a B.A. in Theatre Performance, Lua attended the celebrated Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre and The Dalcroze School of Music, also studying with Metropolitan Opera coach, Joan Dornemann.

Lua sings jazz spiced with pop, funk, latin and international cabaret. Instantly accessible and truly exotic, this Broadway-influenced performer has been molded by exchange experiences in places as diverse as Bali, Russia, Switzerland, Japan, Thailand, France and in Italy, where she performed on tour for five years. Her fascination with world cultures is reflected in the sophisticated song choices for her band, TWIST, in the development of their signature “jazz without borders.”

A unique and original vocalist with a soaring range, Lua interprets lyrics in several languages with a charming, swinging delivery. Michael Arens of Jazz Germany says “…She makes the other side of the world seem a stone’s throw away.” Her Paris debut in July 2009 came on the heels of the successful New York release of her latest CD, Lua Hadar with TWIST, at Broadway’s famed Iridium Jazz Club (“…stunning…sheer beauty… she rocked!” – Cabaret Scenes, NYC) and her band’s international debut at the Bangkok International Festival of Dance & Music.

Her CD has garnered raves from around the world, (“…vivacious brand of jazz…inspired…swinging…cool” – Luna Kafé, Sweden; “…seductive… polished vocal phrasing… irresistible” – Blast Radio 1386, UK) as well as Radio Top 10 Ratings in the USA. She has appeared at The Fairmont Hotel, The Palace of the Legion of Honor, Anna’s Jazz Island, The Plush Room, Jazz at Pearl’s, and her sold-out September 2009 appearance with her band, TWIST, at San Francisco’s Rrazz Room debuted her new show, French Connection, to raves. (“…seamlessly bridges the culture gap … superb… creates the sound and atmosphere of a Paris music hall…” – Cabaret Scenes, San Francisco; the SF Examiner called French Connection “part of her worldly charm.”)

Lua Hadar with TWIST performs at New York City’s Cornelia Street Café on Saturday April 24 with two shows at 9 pm and 10:30 pm. Proclaimed “a culinary as well as a cultural landmark” by the City of New York, the club has become a cultural and intellectual focal point since its establishment in 1977. The Cornelia Street Café has played host to a wildly diverse assortment of writers, musicians, and artists. Playwright Eve Ensler debuted “The Vagina Monologues” there, and Suzanne Vega played some of her first gigs in the performance space that will host Lua Hadar with TWIST in April.
