The August 1st, 2010 performance at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is part of Swart’s year-long celebration of two decades on stage. He started out in 1990 with the Valient Swart Band and quickly moved from playing in obscurity to being a nationally recognised star.

Swart is now one of South Africa’s best known Afrikaans folk singer-songwriters, having produced more than a dozen albums and making appearances in numerous television series. Tickets for the event are R100 per person and can be purchased at the Silver Tree.

Located in the lush, tranquil Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the famed Silver Tree Restaurant is one of Cape Town’s most sought-after dining experiences; thanks to its world-class food, excellent service, and gorgeous surroundings.
